Dr. Scott Allman graduated from the University of Southern California in 1984 where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery as a third generation dentist. After starting his career in Southern California, Dr. Scott Allman relocated to Atlanta in 1991 when he married his Georgia peach of a wife. Shortly after starting as an Atlanta dentist, Dr. Scott Allman earned a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in 1992 and has also completed four continuums of post doctorate training at the Pankey Institute.
Dr. Scott Allman is a member of the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, Hinman Dental Society, Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. Atlanta dentist Dr. Scott Allman is also a member of the American Equilibration Society, which is an organization devoted to understanding and achieving the proper function of teeth and joints that play a role in a person's overall oral health.
Dr. Scott Allman has completed 1500+ hours of continuing education as an Atlanta dentist. The areas of specialty include cosmetic, general dentistry and restorative dentistry, occlusion and temporomandibular joint dysfunction, implant restorations, and removable partials and complete dentures.
Currently, this Atlanta dentist is the team Dentist for the Marist School athletic teams, as well as the consulting Dentist to the Furman University football program. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Scott Allman uses his spare time to volunteer at county animal rescue centers, and has even given a home to a few dogs in need.
